2002 Forman Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Notes

The color is a fine deep red with good brilliance. One knows from the start that this is going to be a delicious wine. Full ripe fruit aromas literally jump from the glass. Deep mulberry and mocha lead to a licorice, berry fruitiness. The Forman terroir, in a spicy Bordeaux sense, is there but it is fuller and sweeter than usual. The flavors are sensational. A wonderful sweet but dry Cabernet fruit quality is impressively evident, coaxing you into a second sip. Violet and wood aromas and flavors play a part but are nicely overshadowed by the rich flavors of the four Bordeaux varieties. This is Forman Cabernet with just a bit more of a statement. I think you will like it.
